New Year and Golden Jubilee Message:

As we step into the New Year 2025, I extent my warm wishes to each one of you. On the New Years eve Indian oil unveils the theme for New Year 2025 Ignite Passion Propel the Core. This theme encapsulates our legacy of leveraging foundational strength while prioritizing our people and fostering the culture of excellence.
It is a great pleasure and matter of pride for all of us that Haldia Refinery, which is Indian Oil’s first coastal Refinery, began its journey in 1969 in West Bengal, marked the beginning of a glorious chapter in India’s energy history and Eastern India’s growth saga. I take this opportunity to announce that recently Haldia Refinery scaled new heights of excellence, by winning the prestigious ‘Refinery of the Year’ award at the FIPI Oil & Gas Awards 2023, held on November 26, 2024 in New Delhi. The award was received by Mr. Arvind Kumar, Director (Refineries), from Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Haldia refinery was commissioned on 1975 and is going to celebrate its 50 years of service to the nation on 12 January 2025. It will be our greatest pleasure to have you to lead the golden jubilee celebration of 50 years of glorious operation of Haldia refinery. As we approach the momentous occasion of Haldia Refinery’s 50 glorious years of its service to the Nation on 12th January 2025, let us gear up for a grand celebration. This milestone is a tribute to the people who have made it all possible. The engineers, technicians, workers and all associated stakeholders who have dedicated their lives to the refinery, the leaders who have guided its destiny, and the communities that have grown and prospered alongside it.
On 23rd January 2025, Indian oil Xtra Mile Marathon will be held in Haldia Refinery Township with 5.5, 11, 22, 44 Kms categories.
